About The Long Weaving's body of practice
The body of practice is a shared, living way of bringing loving kindness into the structures of daily life - how we relate, make choices, build together, and find our way back after harm. It is not a doctrine, a self-improvement program, or a demand to agree. It is a rhythm of practice: presence before reaction, honesty without exposure, power held as stewardship, and repair when the thread between us frays.
The practice is for anyone who longs for more care in the rooms they are already in - facilitators and organizers, teams and founders, parents and neighbors, technologists and stewards of institutions. You do not need to be an expert, or even a particularly “good” person. You only need a willingness to begin where you are, with one honest conversation.
This body of practice is built and tended by a small community of practitioners within The Weaving, a wider ecosystem of people exploring how relationship, governance, and technology can serve life. It grows slowly, by hand, and only as fast as it can stay true.
