We are kind to our families.

Attributes of Kindness
Gratitude Be grateful for all that is good in your life. (Gratitude is the primer for kindness.)
Honor Show respect for the goodness in others.
Benevolence Make decisions based on your inner sense of the right thing to do in any given situation.
Civility Be respectful and courteous even when faced with adversity.
Listening Seek understanding through active listening. "Seek first to understand, then to be understood".
Empathy Be willing to see the world through someone else's lens. Know that we can never fully understand someone else's experience.
Acceptance Accept people as they are. Understand that not everyone aligns with your beliefs and expectations.
Forgiveness Release the negative energy associated with harboring resentment.
Compassion Proceed in life with the intention of making the world a better place for everyone.
Inclusion Invite people that are different from you to the table. Be open to diversity and ideas that differ from your own.
Generosity Be willing to share your own resources with others. This includes 'random acts of kindness.
Celebration Find the joy in celebrating the accomplishments of others.
